Congrats on a successful first quarter! Currently my spending money goes into a seperate account but I'm tempted to write it up after seeing this! Maybe I'll do that in my Plotter 😀

It has helped so much to track every purchase the way I've been doing. I think it's a fantastic PLOTTER use case!

I agree that careful purchases carry greater significance. I don't have the budget to buy too much, but even window-shopping less makes me appreciate what I have.

It feels like a no-brainer but I never really thought about it before! I agree on the window-shopping. Even trying out pens or getting to see/touch something in store has helped!

So sorry about the hurricane and no power but the power company works their butts off to restore power. Blame the hurricane!!

Thank you! Centerpoint did work very hard, especially all the lineman doing their best! But the Centerpoint’s response was extremely disorganized and communication was incredibly poor. Lineman sat around for large portions of their shifts waiting for work orders while over a million people didn’t have power. It was bad that it looks like there will be an investigation into why they struggled so much. People died in their homes from heat exhaustion. Hopefully they figure it out better for next time. :(

Congrats on the no spend! I have totally failed my plan! Any tips or tricks?

Public accountability has helped me the most, I think! That is a big personal motivator for me. Also having a very clear goal in mind, plus allowing myself small allowances so it's not an impossible task.
